Gaming Headlines recently had the opportunity to speak with Steve Patterson, Producer of Mile High Pinball for the N-Gage. The game, we think, is shaping up to be something special that will appeal highly to those pick-up-and-play loving gamers, and equally to the addictive types who will sit down for hours on end to play. Steve gave us a talk through some of the noteworthy features, boasted the excellent, detailed and themed graphics, and impressed us with talk of interesting Arena features.
Mile High Pinball is Pinball in a mile high tower consisting of more levels than you can shake a pointy stick at. Your goal? Get to the top of the tower. If you fail? Down you go.
The game combines classic pinball action with taxing puzzles spread across differently themed environments which change as you climb the mile high tower to victory.
Here is a quick rundown of some of the features:
- Blast Your Way To The Top Of The Mile High Pinball Tower
- Harness the might of awesome Power Ups: Multi Balls, 10X Multipliers, Super Slo-Mos, & more!
- Intense 2-player Bluetooth Gaming: Challenge Against Friends on special MHP multi-player boards
- Show off your high scores and scope out the competition at milehighpinball.com
- Storm the gates to higher boards by battling 25 devious alien enemies and bosses
Mile High Pinball will boast extensive arena compatibility with features we would never have dreamt up, for example you and a friend can share a singe ball, taking it in turns to advance up the tower and reach victory with a team effort. If you find a puzzle difficult, you can let someone else play your ball and get it past the tricky spot.
We think Mile High Pinball has lots of potential as a competitive game with web-based rankings, not unlike the excellent Bike or Die which we reviewed for the Zodiac last year.
Stick around for more information once we obtain a copy of the game and give you a full, first-hand lowdown.
