Nintendo reveals pre-E3 details on Revolution.

Although E3 isn’t quite underway yet, Nintendo have publicly revealed a few but interesting details about the Revolution over the weekend.

Nintendo’s new console will roughly be the thickness of three DVD cases (!!), the length of a DVD case, plus it can be positioned either vertically or horizontally like the PlayStation 2. A feature we're certainly happy to see, it’ll also play all Gamecube games in addition to its own 12cm optical media. Finally, as we’ve known ever since GDC, the Revolution will indeed come equipped with wireless Internet ready out of the box.

A lot more on the Revolution including a possible launch date will be revealed at E3. In the meantime, stick to Gaming Headlines for more E3 coverage.
