Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg (25/01/2006)
Options: (Print) (Send)
One game you might go cuckoo for.

From the creator of the Big Blue Speedy Spiky Hedgehog presents..

A Boy In A Chicken Suit?!

That's right. The creators of sonic have gone mad. Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg is the story of a young boy transported to a magical land ruled by chickens. Unfortunately the chickens have been overthrown by the dark and evil crows. Using the magical chicken suit's powers help the chickens get back their land. The aim of the game is to complete the levels to unlock more levels or terrains.

There are 5 different terrains to be unlocked, with more different levels to unlock inside those terrains.

You can roll eggs to destroy your enemies. Your eggs can get bigger if you feed them with the food you discover. sometimes the food will appear when you smash vases or pots. But mostly you get food when you flatten your enemies. Build up to egg with food until it flashes. Then hatch it. (Listen to their different hatching sounds)

The storyline is good, but at sometimes it gets a bit random. It is mostly first player, but it offers multiplayer battle modes which you can battle out with your friends using their magical suits and the magical eggs.

I would recommend this to younger gamers (Or young hearted gamers, like myself) as it isn't very hard and isn't as mentally challenging.

The graphics are okay, as well as the land, but the background is more basic.. The sound/background music is more childish. The storyline is a bit long, but basic. Overall a good game.
