According to UK Nintendo magazine NGC, Capcom are hard at work on a Nintendo DS remake of the original Resident Evil game. Of course due to technical limitations the remake won’t be an exact port of Resident Evil, but it’ll work in a similar way to Resident Evil 4 on Gamecube. The magazine also states that the touch screen would be used to strike enemies and solve puzzles.
