Great news for Gizmondo fans: A UK release has finally been confirmed. The Gizmondo will be making its UK debut on the 29th of October 2004. No release date has been mentioned for countries such as Australia and the United States, but it is expected to launch in the first half of 2005 for both countries.

Steve Carroll, CTO, Gizmondo Europe said: "Everything's gone according to schedule and now we can enjoy the fruition of our hard work. I'm very proud that the world is now able to enjoy our leading engineering and entrepreneurship. It's going to be fun out there."
