Take-Two Interactive and 2K Sports have announced a PlayStation 2 version of the famed Xbox and PC tennis hit Top Spin. Like the Xbox version of the game, Top Spin will include 16 professional players, a career mode and online play.

"The release of Top Spin on the PlayStation 2 gives a broader audience access to a great game, with some fantastic additions," said Steve ZoBell, president of Indie Built, Inc. "We're very excited to bring this critically acclaimed and extremely popular tennis game to PlayStation 2 owners."

The press release doesn’t state whether there’ll be any enhancements for the PS2 version, although we certainly don't expect to see better graphics. Top Spin will be released this summer.
