In its latest financial report, Konami of Japan confirmed that the fourth instalment of the Metal Gear Solid series is underway, ending those rumours which claimed that Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater would be the last game in the highly praised series. Motoyuki Yoshioka, head of Konami Japan, said “We have some ideas and we've had them for some time now. We will continue to create more games on the series".
At present, there are hardly any details about the game, including which platform it will be released on – perhaps Konami will decide to release it as a Playstation 3 launch title? We’ll have to wait and see.
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is scheduled to hit European shelves on the 23rd of March 2005. RP
