The year of 2005 is set to take off with quite an oriental flavour. European publisher JoWood are set to launch an action/adventure game, Legend of Kay, in February.

In Legend of Kay, you play as a cat on a quest to save his village while learning new fighting techniques, acquiring helpful items and finding hidden secrets along the way.

You may think controlling a cat sounds bizarre, but don’t let this fool you. The whole cat scene is very different to the usual adventure game, but this is shaping out to be one hell of a game. Martial Art fights, sword fighting and bags of other hidden secrets – what more could you want? This game is looking to give other Adventure/Action games in 2005 a run for their money. DM
