EA confirms the game we've all known about for ages.

Although we’ve known about it for quite some time, Electronic Arts has today officially announced GoldenEye: Rogue Agent for the Nintendo DS.

"We are thrilled to bring GoldenEye: Rogue Agent to the Nintendo DS and create distinctive new features to benefit from the platform's unique technology," said Jon Dean, Executive Producer at EA Tiburon. "Playing this action-packed game on the go and right in the palm of your hands is incredible. Bond fans will not be disappointed."

Bond fans will be disappointed to learn that the bottom screen will only be used as a HUD, allowing them to check ammunition levels, hack into electronic devices and weapons, decipher security locks and more. However, the ability to play multi-player deathmatches for up to eight players with just one cartridge makes up for it.

GoldenEye: Rogue Agent will be out in North America this June.
