The latest issue of Famitsu Magazine reports that Nintendo are working to include a wireless multi-player mode which will be available in Animal Crossing DS. Detailing this new mode, up to four players can concurrently wander about in the same neighbourhood. Disappointingly, WiFi compatibility has not been confirmed for this game.

Animal Crossing DS is scheduled to release in the first half of 2005. RP
