When they said "get a life..."
I suppose we have all had people tell us to "get a life" from time to time.

With Animal Crossing set for release on the DS you will be able to take their advice and get a new life in the cutesy little Animal Forest, it is pretty safe to bet that the DS flavour of Animal Crossing will follow in exactly the same footsteps as its GCN and N64 predecessors. That is to say you will live a fully involved life in the world of Animal Forest doing everything from day-to-day chores to designing the interior of your home, writing letters, and getting a job.

However, with the advantages offered by the DS screen we could see the annoyances of writing out letters to animals and navigating complex menus completely removed with the use of on-screen keyboards and one-click navigation.

Expect more of the same from Animal Crossing on the DS, only with one hell of a streamlined interface.

Tamogotchi has never been so obsolete. PH
