Singles: Flirt Up Your Life was released last year. Its blend of romance with Sims-style character management told the story of two lodgers living in the same flat, and it was your task to make them fall in love. Singles 2: Triple Trouble is much along the same lines, but with one major difference. Your play as a character who has to share a accommodation with two members of the opposite sex. And to add a wonderful veneer of madness, one of them is your ex.
So the choices are yours. Do you try and make up again with your ex? Or do you ignore him/her, and fawn over the other gorgeous housemate. But whatever you do, you have to bear in mind the feelings of the other. A tricky task indeed!
This time around you are thankfully not restricted entirely to your flat, but have access to a variety of different locations. You can now meet and interact with other people, so holding a party is now an option, as well as visiting a bar in town. Also, expect plenty more content to flesh things out.
The game is comprised of 15 challenging quests, so die-hard romantics had better start honing their wooing tactics right now. Singles 2: Triple Trouble is headed for a May release. Whether threesomes are on the cards is yet to be found out…
