NCsoft Europe and Cryptic Studios have released concept art and renders for one of the signature characters from the upcoming release City of Villains. City of Villains, a stand-alone sequel to last year's hit massively multiplayer online game City of Heroes, features Captain Mako, one of the top lieutenants of Lord Recluse, the villainous leader of Rogue Isles. Captain Mako is one of Recluse's personal enforcers and is in league with the "Coralax" villain group.

I'm not even a Comic Book reader, let alone an expert, but I see a certain likeness between Captain Mako and Silver Surfer- okay, it's probably my imagination, but he sure as heck reminded me of him! Okay, on closer inspection only one of the early concepts has him bearing any similiarity to the platinum plated surfer of silver- but I had to say something here, didn't I!
