CDV are going to be premiering War Front: Turning Point at E3 this year. Possibly the biggest reason to take an interest in this game is the developer, Digital Reality, who have titles like Haegemonia, Desert Rats vs. Africa Corps and D-Day to their name.

‘Not another WWII RTS!’ you might moan. However, War Front takes a different approach from the norm. It explores an alternate reality in which Hitler is assassinated early on, thus paving the way for a totally different experience. You will be able to use prototype vehicles, new units, and experimental weapons, in an effort by developers to stir things up a bit.

The graphics are promised to be mouth-wateringly lush, using the latest modern-fangled visual techniques to create believable and immersive worlds. Sophisticated resource and technology management systems ensure more than surface beauty. Combat will also be set in various locations throughout the globe as the war progresses, which will hopefully add more variety to the action.
