Deep Silver and Egosoft have announced an Xbox version of their forthcoming space combat game X3: Reunion. You can read a lot more on this game in our first-impressions preview.

"We are very excited to extend the X universe to Xbox and introduce the inhabitants of our universe to a huge new community of gamers. X³: REUNION will combine the maximum freedom of game play, an action loaded plot and a user interface specifically designed for the needs of a console audience." said Bernd Lehahn, CEO of EGOSOFT.

"The X series of games from EGOSOFT have always set new benchmarks, for others to follow, both in terms of graphics and game play. The launch of X³:
REUNION on Xbox proves their dedication in continuing to push the boundaries." said Craig McNicol, Managing Director of DEEP SILVER in the UK. "The Xbox launch also signals DEEP SILVERS continued expansion into the console arena, bringing players ground breaking, innovative titles."
