Ignition’s first 3D KoF title due for release this June.

Ignition Entertainment has announced that King of Fighters: Maximum Impact for Xbox will be released across Europe this June, with an RRP of £29.99. The Xbox version of the game will have various exclusive features, including the ability to take screenshots at any view during gameplay and Xbox Live! compatibility.

But that isn’t all. Maximum Impact will have a number of new characters and gameplay modes that come with optional original Japanese voices. The game will also be one of the few games to feature 60hz compatibility for those with the right hardware.

"Live functionality, allowing people to play against each other online, is something we think is important to offer in a fighting game," said Peter Rollinson, Product Manager, Ignition Entertainment. "We wanted to ensure that we had the best overall package we could offer for the Xbox version of Maximum Impact that takes full advantage of Microsoft's excellent online facilities."
