MGS reveals that three key Xbox franchises will be released on Xbox 2.

In an interview with the official Xbox website, Microsoft Game Studios has revealed that sequels of key Xbox titles such as Halo, Fable and Project Gotham Racing will make an appearance on the Xbox's successor.

"Without giving away all the surprises we have in store, gamers that love franchises like Halo, Fable, and Project Gotham Racing can safely assume we will continue to invest in them as we move into the next generation,” said Shane Kim, Managing Director of Microsoft Games Studios.

While the prospect of Halo 3 for Xbox 2 was inevitable, we were delighted to learn that Fable and Project Gotham Racing will both progress on to Xbox 2.
