Xbox, PC and Mac owners have a treat in store, a new game bearing the prestigious name of Close Combat is set to blow FPS fans away with some of the most highly realistic urban combat ever seen.

Close Combat: First to Fight has been developed with the direct involvement of active duty US Marines to ensure a maximum level of realism and a minimum level of guesswork. The game offers players a whole new degree of strategic simulation letting them call from fire on hostal targets from Cobra Helicopters and 81mm mortars. If that is not enough players can recieve ground support from M1 Abrams tanks, Light Armored Vehicles, Armoured Assault Vehicles and other Marine fireteams.

First to Fight is set in a mid-eastern city during 2006, however the exact name of this city has not yet been disclosed.

On top of involving, realistic and deeply strategic gameplay First to Fight offers some impressive graphics powered by a bespoke engine developed by Destineer themselves:

Creating our own engine allows Destineer to create exactly the kind of experience we want First to Fight to be and optimize our technology specifically for this experience.

Expect more coverage as soon as we get our hands on the game.

And now, what you have all been waiting for – some juicy movies:
