It seems as though each year marks the emergence of yet another Burnout game. This year it certainly isn’t any different, with the notorious Electronic Arts today announcing that Criterion has begun work on Burnout: Revenge.
Albeit the dull name, Revenge boasts quite an interesting feature not seen in any of the previous Burnout titles - driving through rush-hour traffic. In addition to this, you'll endure new race, crash and road rage modes. It’ll be released on PlayStation 2 and Xbox. Sadly, though, a Gamecube version isn’t planned at this point.
Burnout: Revenge is due for release this September. We'll have plenty more on the game as E3 (18th - 20th May 2005) draws closer.
