Halo 2 (Microsoft)Halo 2 (Microsoft)

Halo 2’s release date has finally been announced! Halo 2 will officially release on 9th November, 2004. Continuing on from last year's E3 announcements, new Halo 2 multiplayer footage was shown as well as a couple of other gameplay surprises. The game's visuals are, as always, jaw-dropping to say the very least. To read a brief preview of the game, including a set of new screenshots, please click here.

Doom 3 (Activision)Doom 3 (Activision)

iD software have opened the gates of hell for their third exclusive installment of the Horror/FPS series, Doom 3. Expect it to be the chilliest of horror games with iD's revolutionary new 3D graphics engine. No release date yet confirmed for the UK, so you'll have to wait for that one. Sure to be a big hit!

Fable (Microsoft)Fable (Microsoft)

Much like the Black and White series, it leaves you choosing a life of either good or evil in this groundbreaking RPG. It's been in development for ages, so you're likely to see something unique here from Big Blue Box. A brief preview of this highly-anticipated game can be read here.

Tron 2.0 (Beuna Vista)Tron 2.0: Killer App (Beuna Vista)

One of the first titles to make full use of Xbox Live 3, Tron 2: Killer App allows up to sixteen players to work simultaneously on team-based online deathmatches and other distinctive Tron gameplay modes, such as squad-based combats. Despite having no UK release date confirmed, it still looks very interesting and we'll be following this pretty closely.

Conker: Live and ReloadedConker: Live and Reloaded (Microsoft)

Sequel to Conker's Bad Fur Day on the N64, Conker makes a surprise appearance on the Xbox. Packed with even more rude words and mature content, the in-game graphics have been revamped slightly but the level design is uncannily identical to the N64 versions. Look forward to this on March 2005.

Dead or Alive UltimateDead or Alive Ultimate (Microsoft)

Tecmo's popular fighting game will be shipping worldwide this Autumn. Complete with online features, the game has created quite a stir with its realistic graphics and interactive worlds. Tecmo also revealed that the game will include a multiple asassortment of new special features, such as new costumes, many new battle stages and collectible new trading cards. SP
