Now, we at Gaming Headlines pride ourselves on rising above bias of any kind, and we have a strict ranking system in place to deal with games. We're not the kind of people who lie about a game just because we get it from the publisher for review, and we offer to you our general guidelines for our scores:
0 - Poor
Don't even spare this a glance.
1-2
This game is enough to make one's mother cry. It is visually and audibly unbearable, the storyline is non existent and the gameplay is poo. It really isn't worth your time.
3-4
Despite having several flaws, one or two features will make this game playable, but this is the sort of game that you're not going to want to spend £40 on.
5 - Average
The middleman, a game with a number 5 is a distinctly average game - a 'nice' game, that again may not be worth shelling out for. Whilst features of the game are moderate, it lacks polish and shine that could take it further.
6-7
These are the sort of games that may have a lot of hype around them, and will have a couple of flashy touches that set it apart from lower marks. However, it will still fall short on some hurdles and may not appeal to everyone.
8-9
These games are definitely worth a purchase and are prime examples of great games. Minor complaints or lack of originality may have prevented this game from getting a 10.
10 - Excellent
Revolutionary and flawless - a rare find and a must own.
Ocassionally, we may also generously stick an award for a game in which we think best deserves one of the following respectable awards:
