Welcome to Gaming Headlines
Gaming Headlines has been
working from the ground up for the better part of two
years, aiming to strip the fancy workings of e-journalism
back to basics, bending unwritten laws at every corner
in an attempt to get what you want and need to know, as
and when, because to us, you are all that matters. Over
the next few years, we hope to revolutionise how a gaming
website is run, maintained and operated, which will with
any luck take us beyond the realm of professionalism,
but more importantly, we want to stay true to our jobs,
which is taking you step by step through another revolution,
an ongoing revolution, the gaming revolution.
Gaming Headlines is a non-profit media organisation, so
in effect that means the hardworking people who keep reporting
everything that is going on in the gaming world to you
are sacrificing their time for their love of both writing
and journalism. What does that mean to you? It means you
are guaranteed not to be reading the second-rate self-loving
contrary tripe that features in magazines and even in
other sites. It means that you are getting a selection
of handpicked young writers from around the globe that
will pioneer the gaming journalism world in days to come.
It means that you are not coming across people writing
for the sake of cash, who are just going through the motions
to get paid. It means you are looking at a site with a
lot of damn hard work behind it. It means that we are
here for you. It means we care about the integrity of
this website, and intend to hold our heads up high and
say, "we're doing our job." It means we care about you,
guys.
We promise to deliver:
- The
latest news.
Gaming Headlines' focal point is to provide the gaming
community with cleanly presented and informative news.
- An
honest opinion. Our writers provide honest
and unbiased reviews for all the latest gaming platforms.
Unlike our competitors, we will by no means inflate
review scores based on kickbacks.
-
A
maintained community. We run well-managed
and moderated forums, encouraging discussion on current
events in the games industry.
